AMTSociety's first annual Aircraft Maintenance training seminar in Atlanta, GA was a success. On January 27, AMTSociety welcomed 80 professionals to the seminar. The eight hours of training included seminars from industry experts like Standard Aero, Tdata, Honeywell, Dassault Falcon Jet, Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Safety-Net, Inc. and Global Jet Services, Inc.
Barfield, Inc., Satcom Direct, Inc., Tdata Corporation, Transportation Safety Apparel and Triumph Aerospace Systems - Wichita were on hand to display their products and services. Our thanks to all of these companies for their support of AMTSociety and the IA Renewal Program.
AMTSociety's Atlanta training was the eighth of 12 seminars scheduled for the fall and spring. Each seminar in AMTSociety's IA Renewal Consortium meets the requirements contained in FAR 65.93(A)(4) for Inspection Authorization (IA) renewal training and is acceptable towards 8 hours of training for IA renewal and the FAA AMT Awards Program.
